Royal Icing
Place the stencil on the cake or rolled out marsipan or fondant. Spread the Royal Icing evenly over the stencil using a palet knife or scraper. Gently remove the stencil.
Dusts
Place the stencil on the marsipan or fondant, roll over the stencil with a rolling pin. Smear Crisco (vegetable fat) over the pattern and dust with a sof brush the dust on the pattern.
Stencils works also very well with airbrushing.
